Abigail is the culmination of one man's dream. The owner and designer, Robert W. Buck, retired from the legal field to design and build his boat. Designed at 31,000# she was launched and sails at 28,500#. Abigail is a wonderful blend of traditional cold molded construction, and hi–tech composites well engineered creating a strong, stiff, comfortable, and very able boat. Abigail is a head turner at every anchorage she visits with her traditional good looks and her generous sail plan. She very successfully competed in the Newport to Bermuda race in 2008, her first full season.
