Liv

A Phil Morrison Designed Ocean Row Boat.

Launched 2007

Liv is built and designed to be an ocean expedition, one–person row boat. Constructed of Airex Foam, Nano Shell impregnated experimental epoxy, and uni–directional S–Glass, Liv is a robust but light craft capable of conquering the ocean's fury. Paul Ridley, the adventurer responsible for the birth of Liv used her as a platform to raise money for cancer research. Paul successfully crossed the Atlantic in 88 days, landing in Antigua, March 2009.

Liv successfully crossed the Atlantic a second time in 2010 with a new rower Katie Spotz www.rowforwater.com. But that was not before ACC completely re-built the bottom of LIV after an her unfortunate meeting with a rocky shore on lake Erie where she pounded in a squall for 17 hours before being rescued.
